~From April 6th~
This year, our brother Seth turned 9. We sure do love him. We're glad to have his humor in our home, and we're glad he's rough and tough.
When Mom asked Bridger to put the mixer together to make the cake, here's how he did it.

Before Seth's birthday, he joked that he would probably get carrots for presents. I (Alana) and Aspen had a good idea! We got the biggest storage box we could find, and stuffed it with blankets (you can see them a little in the picture) rocks, and miscellaneous junk. We even labeled the outside "This side up" as you can see in the picture. Then, after lots of packages, there was a bag of carrots in the bottom.
