The Pi Competition

~From February~

I'm not sure who started it, but a new competition circulating around the middle school among some kids, is who can memorize the most decimal-point-places of the number "Pi". (That number having to do with circumference, and round stuff.) "3.141592-somethin" is all I can remember. The kids have made up a song to it and they know way more than I do. Talk about useless trivia! But they're lovin' it. Hanna's the winner so far with 70- somethin' digits memorized, beating a certain T. James by 10 digits, and Alana by 30- somethin'.

Last week when we had 4H public presentations (the kids give speeches/demos that are judged), one classroom where the judging was taking place had the number all across the top of the room. Can you guess what kept the kids "entertained" that night?
