Easter Seattle Trip

(by Alana)

~From April~

For Easter, we headed up to Seattle to visit my mom's sister Shara and her newly wed husband. We feel so lucky to only have to travel 4 hours to visit them. Only 4 hours! In comparison to the usual 11-14 hours, they are practically next door!

Us kids have been begging Mom and Dad to let us go to the Science Center in Seattle for years. We even bargained that we'd go to bed on time for a month, or all do our chores every day for a month, or get Bridger pottytrained. We attempted all our goals. Finally, we got to go. We loved it!

Hanna's hair in a big fan that was supposed to be supporting a beach ball in mid air. But, Bridger took the ball into his own hands to play with, and Hanna took the fan into her own hair!

Blowing bubbles in a huge soapy screen. There were some photographers there that even wanted to take our picture!

Climbing a rock wall
Aspen and Bridger laying in a dinosaur footprint. Don't let anyone step on you!

Bridger could've stayed at this place for hours. He loved the water. L-U-V, loved it!
Dad remembering what it's like to be 2 years old and trying to reach for something at the table! :)

Pretending to be on a real whale tale. :)
We liked spending Easter with Uncle Ben and Aunt Shara. The Saturday before Easter, we were window shopping when we noticed a community Easter Egg Hunt about to take place down the street. So, Mom walked Aspen and Bridger down. Imagine our surprise when Aspen found one of the three eggs that held a special paper. We weren't even from that little town outside Seattle, and she won a huge Easter basket full of goodies! (But the camera died, so no pictures.)
And to finish off Easter, we arrived home to our first calf of the spring, as well as finding out some friends were having their twins that night too. Tis the season of renewal and new life.

Happy Easter!
