Yep, Dad's been catching skunks in a live animal trap he borrowed from Jason Moyer. It seems that as skunks die, they release all their scent. ALL of it. Like their last gift to leave with the world. Isn't that nice?
His shoes were a little too stinky to come in the house. P-U! When you step on the tainted ground, then you track it everywhere else. Seth helped bury one right before parent teacher conferences. When we could still smell it at the school, we had him take his shoes off and leave them outside.
Word of advice to anyone shooting skunks in the near future: They will make EVERYTHING stink! Your garage, your house, your shoes, your vehicles, everything.
I wish I could do that to a person if they shot me! :)
