(With 9 in our family this year, the following is picture overload.)
Somehow, our kids never seem to wake up before daylight on Christmas. (We are SO lucky! Maybe keeping them up LATE the night before helps.) They all sleep in the same room, and fall asleep telling stories. They THINK they wake us up when they stomp on the floor above our bedroom, and I guess they do wake up Troy, but I'm usually already awake.
This was right after we woke Molly up. This is an extra bed we set up in the boys room last summer for guests--that room can sleep 5 on beds now. (Aspen usually sleeps on it this year.)

Santa came!
Bridger talked about Santa bringing him "Chocolate Peanut Butter" last year, all month long, so Santa just HAD to bring it again. Makes him SOOO HAPPY! He eats it by the spoonful. (So do I.) (Yes, those are smoked oysters in the pile. A Peters tradition.)
Grandpa wraps gifts in old Wyoming maps. Cool.
Lovin' the Legos.
To Hanna from Alana.
To Hanna from Yeon.
Seth has been hoping and waiting for an "electric" lightsaber
(one that lights up and makes noise) for a LONG TIME! Yahoo!
One of his best friends gave him a neat Star Wars book. We just HAVE to remember that awesome wrapping job. And the way it was delivered: He knocked on the door and announced he had come over for only 2 things: 1--to bring our garbage can back up the driveway, and 2--to put this gift under the tree. He didn't even ask if Seth was around. It was quite funny, even though it doesn't seem so much in this retelling.
Aspen made these for Mom and Dad.
A baby doll that looks like Molly. She LOVES it, (even 2 months later).
Looks like she's becoming an official member of the family.
(Looks like triplets in this picture--only different ages.)

I can't believe my good fortune!
Aspen's favorite gift. They've had a Woody and Buzz doll for several years, but finally they have Jesse too. She and Bridger like to play "Toy Story" together a lot.
Trying to drink out of the new bottle, before it's opened.
(Maybe this can replace her regular bottle soon.)
All set. She really likes the camera too, and even totes it to bed with her sometimes. (I found it 75% off last summer. It really works, though the pictures are pretty grainy.)
I made Bridger save this gift for last, knowing full well once it was opened,
he'd play with it all day and nothing else. Such anticipation! Somehow, I didn't get a picture of him playing with it though, even though it was set up for weeks in the dining room. It's the sheds and turntable that go with the Thomas Train tracks.
(Those alien eyes of mine.)
Yeon gave these sleeping masks to Alana and Hanna. They use these a lot in Korea, because they take short naps at school a lot. (They have 16 hour school days. For real.)

After picking up all the trash, we only had to go through the garbage once
to find a lost piece of something that got scooped up with all the garbage.

Then we made a simple, yet yummy Christmas dinner. It was Yeon's idea to make the table all fancy, with the stuff from my dear Grandma who just passed away about 10 days before. She painted this tablecloth, and the nice dishes were hers. (Our Christmas tree ornaments are mostly made by her too-she beaded them. I'll have to get a picture of those sometime.) So we had the most beautiful Christmas dinner we've ever had, (in our pajamas.) I think the mashed-potatoes bowl is supposed to be a candy bowl.
